A typical residential concrete driveway takes 2-3 days from start to finish: Day 1 for excavation and gravel base compaction, Day 2 for formwork, rebar installation, and the concrete pour, and Day 3 (if needed) for finishing and initial sealing. You can expect full use of the driveway approximately 7 days after the pour.

We can pour concrete in temperatures as low as -5°C with proper cold-weather precautions including heated water in the mix, accelerated curing admixtures, and insulated blankets over the slab. However, we generally recommend scheduling pours between May and October for best results and avoid pouring when ground frost is present.
